Dr. Woods is board certified in internal medicine.  He is a graduate of Memphis State University (now University of Memphis).  He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.  His internship and residency in internal medicine were at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, where he also served as Chief Resident  in 1993-1994.  Dr. Woods has practiced internal medicine in Jackson since 1994.

As your primary care physician, Dr. Woods describes his role in your care as that of a "health care quarterback," in that he coordinates your total care with the other members of your health care team.  Dr. Woods and his staff are dedicated to personalized care.  They are committed to serving you and seeing that your health care needs are met efficiently and with the attention to detail that you deserve.
